Vestas receives 86 MW order in Sweden Vestas has received an 86 MW order from OX2 for the Karskruv project, which is due to be constructed in the municipality of Uppvidinge, Kronoberg County, Sweden. The order adds to the market-leading tally of more than 5 GW of wind energy capacity that Vestas has installed in Sweden. At the Karskruv project, Vestas will supply and install 20 V150-4.2 MW turbines in 4.3 MW operating mode, as well as provide a long-term 30-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, enabling power performance certainty and Vestas’ industry-leading service expertise throughout the lifetime of the project. “With more than 1.5 GW in orders from OX2 across the Nordic region and Poland, we are pleased to be continuing our partnership with the Karskruv project,” said Juan Furones, Vice President Sales North & West, Vestas Northern & Central Europe. “Karskruv boosts our track record of installing over 5 GW of wind energy capacity in Sweden, and we are delighted to be entrusted to continue delivering for Sweden”. “Our relationship with Vestas has always been very reliable and strong.
