SeaRenergy hat mit Britoil Offshore Services einen langfristigen Chartervertrag für das Plattformversorgungsschiff (PSV) BOS Prelude unterzeichnet und stärkt damit seine Offshore-Versorgungskapazitäten in der Nordsee.

(WK-intern) – Das Schiff wird nicht nur im Rahmen des mehrjährigen Offshore-Infrastrukturvertrags von SeaRenergy mit Siemens Energy eingesetzt und unterstützt die Installation und Inbetriebnahme von Konverterplattformen, sondern steht auch für weitere Versorgungsaufgaben in der Deutschen Bucht und im britischen Sektor zur Verfügung.

Die Schiffscharter hat eine feste Laufzeit von sieben Jahren mit der Option auf Verlängerung um bis zu drei weitere Jahre und kann so die Versorgung für ein ganzes Jahrzehnt sichern.

Die BOS Prelude, die Britoil ursprünglich 2023 von Vroon Offshore erworben hat, wird eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Gewährleistung einer zuverlässigen und effizienten Logistik für Offshore-Energieprojekte spielen. Das PSV wird von den Häfen der Deutschen Bucht und bei Bedarf auch im britischen Sektor aus operieren und den Materialtransfer sowie die Offshore-Logistik für die Offshore-Infrastruktur von Siemens Energy unterstützen.

SeaRenergy signs long-term charter for BOS Prelude with Britoil to enhance offshore supply operations

SeaRenergy has signed a long-term charter agreement with Britoil Offshore Services for the Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) BOS Prelude, strengthening its offshore supply capabilities in the North Sea. The vessel will not only be deployed under SeaRenergy’s multi-year offshore infrastructure contract with Siemens Energy, supporting the installation & commissioning of converter platforms but also be available for any other supply duties in the German Bight and the UK sector.

The vessel charter has a firm duration of seven years, with options to extend for up to three additional years, potentially securing supply services for a full decade.

Originally acquired by Britoil from Vroon Offshore in 2023, the BOS Prelude will play a key role in ensuring reliable and efficient logistics for offshore energy projects. Operating from German Bight ports and in the UK sector as needed, the PSV will support material transfers and offshore logistics for Siemens Energy’s offshore infrastructure framework.
