This year, BASF will host the innovative Student Challenge “Catch the Wind”.

(WK-intern) – This is a European and cross-discipline competition, open to teams of Master, PhD and PostDoc candidates studying at European universities, with an interest in wind energy.

Task: Catch the Wind!

How would you design a smart device to best catch the wind to generate energy efficiently for local use?

  • Create a new and innovative device to generate energy from wind
  • Put together a concept up to ten pages long
  • Show us that your idea really works and submit the concept online

In the first round of the challenge the panel will choose the top five proposals. Then, in the following round, the chosen teams will get the chance to create a prototype of their idea. You can find more detailed information in the Student Challenge website:
