Die Austri Enabler hat sich nach der Auslieferung einen Vertrag über 12 Monate (plus Optionen) gesichert und wird im dritten Quartal 2025 ihren Betrieb außerhalb Großbritanniens aufnehmen.

(WK-intern) – Die Austri Enabler ist das vierte und letzte Schiff einer Serie von vier Schwesterschiffen von Gondan und folgt auf die Nordri Enabler, Sudri Enabler und Vestri Enabler.

Insgesamt ist die Austri Enabler das achte Schiff, das Gondan erfolgreich an Edda Wind ausgeliefert hat.

Die Austri Enabler und ihre Schwesterschiffe setzen neue Maßstäbe im Offshore-Windmarkt. Bei der Konstruktion wurde größter Wert darauf gelegt, die Effizienz des Windparkbetriebs zu maximieren. Darüber hinaus ist die Austri Enabler für den emissionsfreien Betrieb mit einem wasserstoffbasierten Antriebssystem (LOHC) vorbereitet. Das Schiff dient als Mutterschiff für Windkrafttechniker bei Inbetriebnahme- und Wartungsarbeiten an Offshore-Windkraftanlagen. Das CSOV ist 88,3 m lang und bietet Platz für bis zu 120 Personen.

Edda Wind took delivery of Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) “Austri Enabler” from Gondan Shipbuilders.

Austri Enabler has secured a 12 months (plus options) contract following delivery and will commence operation outside UK in Q3 2025.

Austri Enabler is the fourth and last vessel in a series of four sister vessels from Gondan and follows Nordri Enabler, Sudri Enabler and Vestri Enabler. In total, Austri Enabler represents the eight vessel that Gondan has successfully delivered to Edda Wind.

Austri Enabler and her sister vessels are designed to set a new standard in the offshore wind market. Every effort has been made in the design to maximize the efficiency of operations in the wind farm. In addition, Austri Enabler is prepared for running emission-free operations with a hydrogen-based propulsion system (LOHC). The vessel will serve as mother vessel for wind turbine technicians as they perform commissioning and maintenance work on offshore wind turbines. The CSOV is 88.3 in length and can accommodate up to 120 persons in total.
