BW Ideol arbeitet mit Taiya Renewable Energy sowohl für Pilotprojekte als auch für Projekte im kommerziellen Maßstab in Taiwan zusammen

(WK-intern) – BW Ideol hat eine Partnerschaftsvereinbarung mit Taiya Renewable Energy für die gemeinsame Entwicklung einer schwimmenden Offshore-Windpipeline einschließlich eines schwimmenden 50-MW-Windpilotprojekts im kommerziellen Maßstab unterzeichnet, vorbehaltlich weiterer Due Diligence und Aushandlung der endgültigen Vereinbarungen zwischen den Parteien Projekte vor Taiwan.

Die zweifache Vereinbarung umfasst zunächst die Entwicklung eines Pilotprojekts als Reaktion auf die spezifische Ausschreibung, die die taiwanesische Regierung diesen August angekündigt hat.

BW Ideol erhält den exklusiven EPCI-Vertrag für Design, Konstruktion, Bau und Installation der schwimmenden Fundamente auf der Grundlage seiner bewährten und äußerst wettbewerbsfähigen Damping Pool-Technologie. Vorbehaltlich der endgültigen Investitionsentscheidung des Projekts wird COD vor Ende 2026 angestrebt, wobei mit dem Baubeginn bereits 2025 gerechnet wird.

Die Partnerschaftsvereinbarung umfasst auch die gemeinsame Entwicklung mehrerer Projekte im kommerziellen Maßstab. Die Bemühungen um Umweltverträglichkeitsprüfungen werden fortgesetzt, um eine rechtzeitige Qualifizierung bis zum offiziellen Start der Ausschreibungen sicherzustellen.

BW Ideol has signed a partnership agreement with Taiya Renewable Energy for the joint development, subject to further due diligence and negotiation of the final agreements among the Parties, of a floating offshore wind pipeline including a 50 MW floating wind pilot-project and commercial-scale projects off Taiwan.

BW Ideol has signed a partnership agreement with Taiya Renewable Energy for the joint development, subject to further due diligence and negotiation of the final agreements among the Parties, of a floating offshore wind pipeline including a 50 MW floating wind pilot-project and commercial-scale projects off Taiwan.
The two-fold agreement first covers the development of a pilot project in response to the specific tender announced by the Taiwanese government this August. BW Ideol is granted the exclusive EPCI contract to design, engineer, build and install the floating foundations based on its proven and highly competitive Damping Pool technology. Subject to the project reaching final investment decision, COD is targeted before the end of 2026, with construction expected to start as early as 2025.
The partnership agreement also covers the joint development of several commercial-scale projects. Environmental Impact Assessment efforts are ongoing to ensure a timely qualification by the time the tenders are officially launched.
