Opoura, Spezialist für Hybrid-Energiemanagement, liefert die zentrale Steuerung für das Projekt Zurndorf in Österreich und unterstützt GOLDBECK SOLAR bei der Bewältigung des komplexen Solar- und Windenergiemix.

(WK-intern) – SILKEBORG, DÄNEMARK – GOLDBECK SOLAR hat Opoura mit der Lieferung der Hybrid-Hauptsteuerung für das Projekt Zurndorf beauftragt – eines der bislang größten Hybrid-Erneuerbaren-Projekte Österreichs.

Das Projekt kombiniert 75 MW neue Photovoltaik-Anlagen mit 71 MW bestehender Windkraft, verteilt auf neun Parks und drei Mittelspannungs-Netzanschlusspunkte.

„Dies ist ein technisch komplexes Projekt – mit drei separaten Mittelspannungs-Netzanschlusspunkten und neun Teilparks für Wind- und Solarenergie. Um alles erfolgreich zu bündeln und zu integrieren, setzen wir auf die gute Zusammenarbeit mit Opoura aus mehreren abgeschlossenen Projekten und auf die Skalierbarkeit der Hybrid-Kraftwerkssteuerung“, so Christian Klemt, Projektingenieur bei GOLDBECK SOLAR. Das Projekt im Burgenland nahe der ungarischen Grenze nutzt die bestehende Infrastruktur intelligent, indem es neue Solarstromerzeugung mit netzgekoppelten Windkraftanlagen kombiniert. Dadurch wird die Hürde der Sicherung neuer Netzkapazitäten umgangen. Der Hybrid-Ansatz bringt jedoch auch seine eigene Komplexität mit sich – und genau hier kommt die OneView® Hybrid Control Unit von Opoura ins Spiel. Die für Hybridumgebungen entwickelte Plattform bietet eine einheitliche Echtzeitsteuerung aller Anlagen, unabhängig vom Anlagenmix.

Die Umsetzung des Zurndorf-Projekts ist für die zweite Jahreshälfte 2025 geplant.

Opoura powers one of Austria’s largest hybrid renewable projects with GOLDBECK SOLAR

Specialists in hybrid power management, Opoura, are delivering centralized control for the Zurndorf project in Austria, helping GOLDBECK SOLAR manage the complex mix of solar and wind.

SILKEBORG, DENMARK – Opoura has been chosen by GOLDBECK SOLAR to deliver the hybrid master power plant controller for the Zurndorf project — one of the largest hybrid renewable setups in Austria to date. The project combines 75 MW of new solar PV with 71 MW of existing wind power, spread across nine parks and three medium-voltage grid connection points.

“This is a technically complex project — with three separate MV grid connection points and nine sub-parks across wind and solar. To succeed and bring it all together, we rely on the good collaboration gained through several projects completed with Opoura and on the scalability of their hybrid power plant controller,” says Christian Klemt, Project Engineer at GOLDBECK SOLAR.

Located in Burgenland near the Hungarian border, the project makes smart use of existing infrastructure by adding new solar generation to grid-connected wind assets. In this way, the hurdle of securing new grid capacity is avoided. However, the hybrid setup adds its own complexity — and that’s where Opoura’s OneView® Hybrid Control Unit comes in. Built for hybrid environments, the platform delivers real-time, unified control across all assets, no matter the mix.
