Nor-Shipping hat bestätigt, dass sein Programm zum 60-jährigen Jubiläum, das vom 2. bis 6. Juni in Oslo und Lillestrøm stattfand, alle bisherigen Rekorde für die Veranstaltungswoche gebrochen hat.

(WK-intern) – Die Gesamtbesucherzahl stieg um beeindruckende 23 % auf 63.698 (von 51.948 im Jahr 2023).

Das gestiegene globale Engagement führte zu einem Anstieg der Besucherländer um 24 % (Entscheidungsträger aus 104 Nationen trafen sich).

Die Anzahl der Länderpavillons stieg um beeindruckende 31 %, getragen von der starken Präsenz führender Cluster wie Indien, China und Deutschland.

Darüber hinaus überschritt die Zahl der ausstellenden Unternehmen die 1.000er-Marke (1.012 – ein Anstieg von 13 %). Im Vergleich zur Nor-Shipping 2023 war die Ausstellungsfläche um 15 % größer (23.761 m²). Die Nachfrage war so groß, dass die Veranstalter die verfügbare Fläche erstmals um die zweite Etage der Halle D, das sogenannte Oberdeck, erweiterten. Insgesamt repräsentierten die Aussteller 50 verschiedene Länder (ein Anstieg von 11 %), und das Konferenz- und Seminarprogramm wurde um 38 % erweitert.

Nor-Shipping-Direktorin Sidsel Norvik beschreibt die Veranstaltung 2025 als „eine einfach unvergessliche Woche“.

Zukunftssichere Veranstaltung

Sie kommentiert: „Wir hatten vielleicht nicht das gleiche Wetter wie 2023, aber das tat der Begeisterung unserer großartigen Aussteller, Besucher und Referenten keinen Abbruch. In den Hallen herrschte reges Treiben, die Stände waren stets gut gefüllt, und das Rahmenprogramm – mit neuen Initiativen wie Ocean Invest und der LNG-Konferenz – bot wirklich für jeden etwas, der nachhaltige Erfolge im Seeverkehr anstrebte.

„Dass es unsere 60. Ausgabe war, war natürlich bemerkenswert, aber die Begeisterung, das Engagement und die Innovationen auf den Ausstellungen zeigten, dass der Fokus klar auf der Zukunft lag. Wie unser beliebtes Motto #Future-Proof unterstreicht. Ich möchte mich bei allen Teilnehmern bedanken, die dazu beigetragen haben, dass dies die beste Nor-Shipping aller Zeiten war. Neben der großen Teilnehmerzahl während der Woche konnte Nor-Shipping 2025 auch mehr Partner als je zuvor gewinnen, darunter neue internationale Namen wie ADNOC, Noatum Maritime, Emirates, Lucid Motors, UArctic und AET.

Nor-Shipping 2027 findet vom 7. bis 11. Juni 2027 statt.

Nor-Shipping 2025 breaks records ‘across the board’ with huge global engagement

Nor-Shipping has confirmed that its 60th anniversary programme, which ran from 2-6 June in Oslo and Lillestrøm, broke all previous records for the event week.

More, more, more

Total visitor numbers were up an impressive 23%, to 63,698 (from 51,948 in 2023), while greater global engagement saw a 24% rise in visiting countries (with decision makers gathering from 104 nations). The number of national pavilions climbed an eye-catching 31%, anchored by major presences from leading clusters such as India, China and Germany.

In addition, the number of exhibiting companies accelerated past the 1,000 mark (1,012 – a 13% increase), with 15% more exhibition space filled (23,761m2) compared to Nor-Shipping 2023. Demand was so high, in fact, that organisers expanded the available area to include the second floor of Hall D, christened the Upper Deck, for the first time. In all, exhibitors represented 50 different counties (an 11% boost), with a 38% larger conference and seminar programme.

Nor-Shipping Director Sidsel Norvik describes the 2025 event as “a simply unforgettable week.”

Future-Proof event

She comments: “We may not have been blessed with the same weather as we had in 2023, but that certainly did nothing to dampen the spirits of our amazing exhibitors, visitors and speakers. There was a huge buzz in the halls, with consistently packed stands, and the activity programme – featuring new initiatives such as Ocean Invest and the LNG Conference – really did have something for everyone looking to unlock sustainable ocean business success.

“The fact that this was our 60th was obviously noteworthy, but the excitement, engagement and innovations on show demonstrated that the focus was firmly on the future. As underlined by our popular #Future-Proof theme. I’d just like to thank all our participants for playing their part in making this the best Nor-Shipping ever.
