Natural Power bestätigt das 312 Millionen US-Dollar teure TAG-Projekt von Exus Renewables North America in New Mexico

(WK-intern) – Der führende Beratungs- und Dienstleistungsanbieter für erneuerbare Energien, Natural Power, war als unabhängiger Ingenieur im Auftrag des Unternehmens für die Verwaltung und Entwicklung erneuerbarer Vermögenswerte, Exus Renewables North America, für dessen TAG-Projekt tätig; eine 140-Megawatt-Solaranlage und eine 50-Megawatt/200-Megawattstunden-Batteriespeicheranlage in Sandoval County, New Mexico.

Das Projekt, das sich über 1.000 Acres westlich von Albuquerque erstreckt, integriert bifaziale Solarmodule von Boviet mit Batteriespeichersystemen von Tesla Megapack. Nach Abschluss des Projekts im zweiten Quartal 2025 wird die erzeugte Energie von der Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) gekauft und auch von einem Meta-Rechenzentrum genutzt. Das Projekt unterstützt derzeit mehr als 250 temporäre Baujobs und wird nach seiner Fertigstellung Vollzeitarbeitsplätze im Betrieb und in der Wartung schaffen.

Darüber hinaus wird es in den nächsten 30 Jahren mehr als 17 Millionen US-Dollar an Sandoval County und die örtlichen Schulbezirke einbringen.

Natural Power validates Exus Renewables North America’s $312M TAG project in New Mexico

Leading renewable energy consultancy and service provider, Natural Power, has served as independent engineer of record on behalf of renewable asset management and development firm, Exus Renewables North America, for its TAG project; a 140-megawatt solar and 50-megawatt/200-megawatt-hour battery storage facility in Sandoval County, New Mexico.

Natural Power’s detailed assessment of this project confirmed that combining solar PV with battery storage has great value in the resource rich region that New Mexico has to offer.”

The project, which spans over 1,000 acres west of Albuquerque, integrates Boviet bifacial solar modules with Tesla Megapack battery storage systems. Following completion of the project in Q2 of 2025, the energy produced will be purchased by Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) and also used by a Meta data center. The project currently supports more than 250 temporary construction jobs and will create full-time operations and maintenance jobs when completed.

Additionally, it will contribute more than $17 million to Sandoval County and local school districts during the next 30 years.
