Iberdrola France fördert nachhaltige Lösungen für die maritime Wirtschaft in Frankreich

(WK-intern) – Iberdrola finanziert über seine Tochtergesellschaft Iberdrola Energía Internacional in Frankreich Initiativen zur Förderung verantwortungsvoller Fischerei, Emissionsreduzierung und lokaler Ressourcen in der Bucht von Saint-Brieuc, wo das Unternehmen seinen ersten Offshore-Windpark in Frankreich betreibt.

Drei innovative Projekte wurden als Gewinner des IBReizh-Programms ausgewählt. Die Initiative von Iberdrola France fördert die nachhaltige wirtschaftliche Entwicklung an der bretonischen Küste, wo der Offshore-Windpark Saint-Brieuc betrieben wird: biologisch abbaubare Netze für eine sauberere Aquakultur, effizientere und leichter zugängliche Boote für die Kleinfischerei sowie alternative Köder biologischen Ursprungs. Diese drei ausgewählten Projekte erhalten finanzielle Unterstützung und technische Unterstützung vom Team von Iberdrola France.

Seit seiner Einführung hat das IBReizh-Programm fünf Vereinbarungen mit lokalen Unternehmen zur Förderung von Innovationen im maritimen Sektor gefördert.

Iberdrola France promotes sustainable solutions for the maritime economy in France

Iberdrola, through its subsidiary Iberdrola Energía Internacional in France, will finance initiatives that promote responsible fishing, emissions reduction and the use of local resources in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc, where it operates its first offshore wind farm in France.

Three innovative projects have been selected as winners of the IBReizh programme, an initiative launched by Iberdrola France to promote sustainable economic development on the Brittany coast, where the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm operates: biodegradable nets for cleaner aquaculture, more efficient and accessible boats for small-scale fishing, and alternative bait of biological origin. These three selected projects will receive funding and technical support from the Iberdrola France team.

Since its creation, the IBReizh programme has promoted five agreements with local entities to promote innovation in the maritime sector.
