(WK-intern) – Das Unternehmen eröffnet nun sein Werk in Québec, um seine Kunden weiterhin zu unterstützen.

Longueuil, Québec, Kanada – Nach dem Verkauf der ersten 100 Elektroflugzeuge hat H55, ein weltweit führender Anbieter zertifizierter elektrischer Antriebssysteme für die Luftfahrt, heute seine neue Produktionsstätte und seine Entwicklungsbüros in Longueuil, in der Luft- und Raumfahrt-Innovationszone von Québec, offiziell eröffnet.

Das neue Werk produziert Batteriepacks für Kundenflugzeuge. Die Auslieferung soll 2027 beginnen. Dies markiert den ersten nordamerikanischen Standort von H55 und den Start seiner Produktion in Kanada.

Die heutige Eröffnung würdigt nicht nur das Engagement von H55 in Kanada, sondern auch die wachsende Dynamik der Elektroluftfahrt – unterstrichen durch die erfolgreiche „Across America“-Tour des Unternehmens und eine einwöchige Technologiepräsentation in Longueuil.

Mit dieser neuen Anlage wird H55 seine elektrischen Antriebssysteme und Batteriemodule für die in diesem Jahr bestellte Bristell B23 Energic ausliefern und gleichzeitig Großkunden wie CAE, Pratt & Whitney Canada und Harbour Air beliefern. Die Zertifizierung des 100-kW-Elektroantriebssystems wird in Kürze erwartet, die ersten Auslieferungen sind für 2026 geplant.

H55 Accelerates North American Expansion with New Aircraft Battery Pack Manufacturing Facility in Canada

Over 100 systems already sold on the Bristell B23 Energic platform, as the company inaugurates its Québec facility to continue supporting its customers

Longueuil, Québec, Canada – August 28, 2025 – Following the sale of the first 100 electric aircraft, H55, a global leader in certified electric propulsion systems for aviation, officially inaugurated today its new production site and engineering offices in Longueuil, located within Québec’s aerospace innovation zone. The new plant is manufacturing battery packs for customer aircraft, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2027. This marks H55’s first North American location and the launch of its production operations in Canada.

Today’s inauguration not only celebrates H55’s commitment to Canada but also the growing momentum of electric aviation—highlighted by the company’s successful “Across America” tour and a week-long technology showcase in Longueuil.

With this new facility, H55 is set to deliver its electric propulsion systems and battery modules for the Bristell B23 Energic ordered this year, while also serving major customers including CAE, Pratt & Whitney Canada, and Harbour Air. Certification of its 100kW electric propulsion system is expected in the near term, with first deliveries slated for 2026.
