Cadeler unterzeichnet Festvertrag mit Synera Renewable Energy für die Installation von Windkraftanlagen im Offshore-Windpark Formosa 4 in Taiwan

(WK-intern) – Kopenhagen – Cadeler gibt heute die Unterzeichnung eines Festvertrags mit Synera Renewable Energy (SRE) für den Transport und die Installation (T&I) von 35 Siemens Gamesa 14-MW-Windkraftanlagen im Offshore-Windpark Formosa 4 in Taiwan bekannt.

Das Projekt wird von einem der Windkraftanlagen-Installationsschiffe der nächsten Generation der M-Klasse von Cadeler durchgeführt.

Die T&I-Arbeiten sollen im März 2028 beginnen und etwa 150 Tage dauern. Der Umsatz aus diesem Vertrag wird für Cadeler voraussichtlich zwischen 70 und 80 Millionen Euro liegen.

Die heutige Ankündigung spiegelt den Abschluss eines Festvertrags für einen Teil der Arbeiten wider, die in der Reservierungsvereinbarung vorgesehen sind, die Cadeler im September 2024 veröffentlicht hat und die zwei Offshore-Windprojekte in der Region sicherte. Die Verhandlungen über das zweite dieser Offshore-Windprojekte laufen noch. Die Partnerschaft von Cadeler mit SRE bei diesen Projekten ist ein weiterer Schritt in Cadelers langfristiger Strategie zur Förderung der Offshore-Windenergie im asiatisch-pazifischen Raum, unterstützt durch die Niederlassung des Unternehmens in Taipeh.

Formosa 4 liegt 18 bis 20 Kilometer vor der Küste des Landkreises Miaoli und erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von 58 Quadratkilometern. Die Turbinen werden in Wassertiefen zwischen 57 und 64 Metern installiert. Nach Fertigstellung wird der Windpark 495 MW saubere Offshore-Energie liefern und damit einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur grünen Energieversorgung Taiwans leisten.

Cadeler signs firm contract with Synera Renewable Energy for WTG Installation at the Formosa 4 Offshore Wind Farm in Taiwan

Copenhagen – Cadeler today announces that it has signed a firm contract with Synera Renewable Energy (SRE) for the transportation and installation (T&I) of 35 Siemens Gamesa 14MW wind turbines at the Formosa 4 Offshore Wind Farm in Taiwan. The project will be executed by one of Cadeler’s next-generation M-class wind turbine installation vessels.

The T&I operations are set to commence in March 2028 and will last approximately 150 days. The revenue from this contract to Cadeler is projected to be between EUR 70 and 80 million.

Today’s announcement reflects the execution of a firm contract for a portion of the work contemplated by the reservation agreement Cadeler disclosed in September 2024, which secured two offshore wind projects in the region. Negotiations are ongoing with respect to the second of such offshore wind projects. Cadeler’s partnership with SRE on these projects represents a further step forward in Cadeler’s long-term strategy to advance offshore wind in the Asia-Pacific, supported by the company’s local office in Taipei.

Located 18 to 20 kilometres off the coast of Miaoli County, Formosa 4 will span an area of 58 square kilometres, with turbines installed at water depths between 57 and 64 metres. Upon completion, the wind farm will provide 495 MW of clean offshore energy, contributing significantly to Taiwan’s green energy supply.
