Mit Wirkung zum 1. Mai 2025 erweitert Ørsted sein Führungsteam und ernennt zwei neue Mitglieder.

Mit den heutigen Ernennungen wird die gesamte Wertschöpfungskette der Offshore-Windenergie – von Entwicklung über Bau bis hin zur Stromerzeugung – im Führungsteam von Ørsted vertreten sein.

Amanda Dasch wird zum Chief Development Officer (CDO) ernannt und leitet künftig den Bereich Ørsted Commercial. Dieser Bereich umfasst die kommerziellen Entwicklungsaktivitäten in den drei Regionen von Ørsted (Europa, Amerika und Asien-Pazifik) sowie die Bereiche Handel & Umsatz, Strategie & Innovation sowie Stakeholder-Beziehungen. Amanda Dasch ist derzeit CEO der Region Amerika bei Ørsted und verfügt über 20 Jahre Führungserfahrung in der Energiebranche. Sie wird nach Dänemark umziehen und dort bis zur Besetzung ihrer Nachfolge als Interims-CEO der Region Amerika fungieren.

Godson Njoku wird zum Chief Generation Officer (CGO) ernannt und leitet Ørsted Generation. Er trägt die Gesamtverantwortung für die Leistung der europäischen Energieerzeugungsanlagen von Ørsted. Godson Njoku wird in Großbritannien tätig sein und kommt nach 20 Jahren bei Shell zu Ørsted. Dort hatte er verschiedene leitende Positionen inne, darunter die des Executive Vice President mit Verantwortung für Global Production Excellence im Upstream Business Leadership Team von Shell.

Mit den Veränderungen im Führungsteam wird Ørsted die Funktion des stellvertretenden CEO aufgeben.

Ørsted expands Group Executive Team and appoints two new members

Effective from 1 May 2025, Ørsted expands its Group Executive Team and appoints two new members, reporting to Group President and CEO, Rasmus Errboe. With today’s appointments, the full offshore wind value chain, including development, construction, and generation, will be represented in Ørsted’s Group Executive Team.

Amanda Dasch is appointed Chief Development Officer (CDO) and will head up Ørsted Commercial, which covers commercial development activities across Ørsted’s three regions (Europe, Americas, and APAC) as well as Trading & Revenue, Group Strategy & Innovation, and Group Stakeholder Relations. Amanda Dasch is currently CEO of Region Americas at Ørsted and has 20 years of leadership experience from the energy industry. She will relocate to Denmark and will continue as interim CEO of Region Americas until her successor has been found.

Godson Njoku is appointed Chief Generation Officer (CGO) and will be leading Ørsted Generation, holding the overall responsibility for the performance of Ørsted’s European fleet of energy-generating assets. Godson Njoku will be based in the UK and joins Ørsted after 20 years with Shell, where he held a number of senior executive roles, including serving as Executive Vice President with responsibility for Global Production Excellence in Shell’s Upstream Business Leadership Team.
