Frankreichs Infrastruktur für erneuerbare Energien mit hochmodernen Kabellösungen stärken

(WK-intern) – Hellenic Cables, die Kabelsparte von Cenergy Holdings, erhielt im Konsortium mit Asso.subsea vom Réseau de Transport d’Électricité (RTE) einen Auftrag für die schlüsselfertige Lieferung des Offshore-Windparks Dünkirchen.

Der Offshore-Windpark Dünkirchen mit einer geplanten Leistung zwischen 500 und 600 MW wird über zwei 225-kV-HLK-Exportkabelverbindungen verfügen, die eine reibungslose Einspeisung sauberer Energie in das französische Stromnetz ermöglichen.

Hellenic Cables wird 32 km Seekabel für die doppelte Seekabelverbindung sowie 38 km Erdkabel für die dreiphasige doppelte Erdkabelverbindung entwerfen, fertigen und liefern, See- und Erdkabelzubehör liefern, vor Ort Verbindungs-, Prüf- und Anschlussarbeiten durchführen und für die Inbetriebnahme der Kabelverbindungen verantwortlich sein. Der Installationspartner Asso.subsea ist für den Transport, die Verlegung und den Schutz der Seekabelverbindungen verantwortlich.

Die Seekabel werden im hochmodernen Werk von Hellenic Cable in Korinth, Griechenland, hergestellt, während die Landkabel in der Onshore-Kabelproduktionsanlage von Hellenic Cable in Thiva, Griechenland, gefertigt werden, die sich derzeit ebenfalls in einem Kapazitätserweiterungsprogramm befindet.

Für die Installation der Seekabel nutzt Asso.subsea die erweiterte Kapazität seiner hochmodernen Flotte und setzt spezialisierte, selbst entwickelte Ausrüstung ein, um Präzision, Effizienz und höchste Qualitätsstandards zu gewährleisten. Das Projekt umfasst komplexe Verlege- und Vergrabungsarbeiten in flachen Gewässern, einem Bereich, in dem Asso.subsea seit Jahren umfassende Expertise unter Beweis stellt.

Hellenic Cables engagiert sich für die Unterstützung von RTE und den regionalen Initiativen für erneuerbare Energien, wie die Teilnahme an der RTE-Veranstaltung 2023 in Dünkirchen mit Schwerpunkt auf lokalen Inhalten zeigt.

Hellenic Cables in consortium with Asso.subsea will supply and install export cables for Dunkerque Offshore Wind Farm

Enhancing France’s renewable energy infrastructure with cutting-edge cable solutions

Hellenic Cables, the cables segment of Cenergy Holdings, in consortium with Asso.subsea, was awarded a turnkey contract by Réseau de Transport d’ Électricité (RTE) for the Dunkerque Offshore Wind Farm.

The Dunkerque Offshore Wind Farm, with a planned capacity between 500 and 600 MW, will feature two 225 kV HVAC export cable links which will enable the seamless transfer of clean energy to the French grid. Hellenic Cables will design, manufacture and supply 32 km of submarine cables for the double submarine cable link, as well as 38 km of underground cables for the tri-phased double underground cable link, supply submarine and underground cable accessories, perform on site jointing, testing and termination works and be responsible for the commissioning of the cable links. The installation partner Asso.subsea will be responsible for the transportation, laying and protection of the submarine cables links.

The submarine cables will be manufactured at Hellenic Cables’ state-of-the-art facility in Corinth, Greece, while the land cables will be manufactured at Hellenic Cable’s onshore cable manufacturing facility in Thiva, Greece, also currently undergoing a capacity expansion programme.

For the installation of the submarine cables, Asso.subsea will utilize the expanded capacity of its state-of-the-art fleet, deploying specialized in-house-designed equipment to ensure precision, efficiency and the highest quality standards throughout. The project involves complex laying and burial operations in shallow waters, an area where Asso.subsea has demonstrated extensive expertise over the years.

Hellenic Cables is committed in supporting RTE and the region’s renewable energy initiatives, as demonstrated by its participation in RTE’s 2023 event in Dunkerque focused on local content.
