(WK-intern) – David Malinas bringt mehr als 20 Jahre Erfahrung in der operativen Führung in seine neue Rolle ein.

Zuletzt war er Chief Operating Officer bei Duravant, einem globalen Unternehmen für Automatisierungstechnik mit Hauptsitz in Chicago.

Vor seiner Tätigkeit bei Duravant war er Präsident des Segments Industrieprozesse bei ITT und hatte leitende Positionen bei Thermo Fisher Scientific und Danaher Corporation inne.

David Malinas ist kein Unbekannter bei Dover. Er kam 2019 als Senior Vice President of Operations zu Dover und hatte diese Position fast vier Jahre lang inne. In dieser Zeit leitete er die Entwicklung und Umsetzung der Fertigungsstrategie von Dover mit einem starken Fokus auf Footprint-Optimierung, kontinuierlicher Verbesserung, Lieferketteneffizienz und Qualitätssteigerung. Sein Engagement trug maßgeblich zum profitablen Wachstum aller operativen Unternehmen von Dover bei.

David Malinas hat einen Bachelor of Science in Chemieingenieurwesen und einen Master of Science in Fertigungstechnik von der Case Western Reserve University sowie einen Master of Business Administration von der Harvard Business School.

David Malinas folgt auf Kevin Long, der elf Jahre bei Dover tätig war, darunter seit 2017 als Präsident von OPW.

David Malinas Appointed as New OPW President

Hamilton, OH — OPW, a Dover Company (NYSE: DOV), announced today that it has named David Malinas as the company’s new president, effective immediately.

David brings more than 20 years of operational leadership experience to his new role. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Duravant, a global automation equipment company headquartered in Chicago. Prior to Duravant, David served as President of the Industrial Process segment at ITT, and held senior executive roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Danaher Corporation.

David is no stranger to Dover. He first joined the company in 2019 as Senior Vice President of Operations, a role he held for nearly four years. During that time, he led the development and execution of Dover’s manufacturing strategy, with a strong focus on footprint optimization, continuous improvement, supply chain efficiency, and quality enhancement. His efforts were instrumental in driving profitable growth across Dover’s operating companies.
