HHWE fusioniert mit NMT-IRO – Bündelung der Kräfte in der Offshore-Windenergie

(WK-intern) – Rotterdam – Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) und NMT-IRO freuen sich, die offizielle Fusion von HHWE und NMT-IRO zum 1. Januar 2026 bekannt zu geben.

Mit großer Unterstützung seiner Mitglieder stimmte HHWE dem Fusionsvorschlag auf einer außerordentlichen Hauptversammlung zu. Diese Fusion ist ein wichtiger Schritt zur Stärkung der (inter-)nationalen Positionierung der niederländischen Offshore-Windindustrie.

Die Fusion vereint zwei Organisationen, die sich seit langem für die Förderung und Unterstützung der internationalen Ambitionen des niederländischen Offshore-Energiesektors einsetzen. Durch den Zusammenschluss bilden sie einen einheitlichen Verband mit einer einzigen, starken Stimme sowohl international als auch in den Niederlanden.

Jeroen de Graaf, Direktor von NMT-IRO, kommentiert: „Diese Fusion schafft eine stärkere und einheitlichere Vertretung der niederländischen Offshore-Windindustrie im Ausland. Durch die Bündelung unseres Wissens, unserer Netzwerke und unserer Initiativen erhöhen wir unsere Wirkung und sind besser aufgestellt, um die internationalen Wachstumsambitionen unserer Mitglieder zu unterstützen.“

Wim Jenniskens, Vorstandsvorsitzender des HHWE, ergänzt: „Diese strategische Allianz vereint die stärksten Akteure der niederländischen maritimen, Offshore- und erneuerbaren Energien. Gemeinsam bauen wir eine leistungsstarke Plattform für die Zukunft.“

Der Zusammenschluss bietet klare Vorteile: mehr Effizienz und Sichtbarkeit bei internationalen Handelsreisen und Messen, ein breiteres Netzwerk für Mitglieder und eine stärkere Wirkung in den Bereichen Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Kommunikation und strategische Positionierung.

Im Vorfeld des Zusammenschlusses wird das HHWE-Team schrittweise in das NMT-IRO-Büro integriert. Im September findet eine gemeinsame Mitgliederbesprechung statt, um weitere Informationen zu den nächsten Schritten zu geben.

HHWE to merge with NMT-IRO – Joining forces in offshore wind

Rotterdam – Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) and NMT-IRO are pleased to announce that HHWE will officially merge with NMT-IRO as of 1 January 2026. With strong support from its members, HHWE approved the merger proposal during an extraordinary general meeting. This merger marks a significant step in strengthening the (inter)national positioning of the Dutch offshore wind industry.

The merger brings together two organisations that have long been committed to promoting and supporting the international ambitions of the Dutch offshore energy sector. By joining forces, they form one unified association with a single, powerful voice both internationally and within the Netherlands.

Jeroen de Graaf, Director of NMT-IRO, comments: “This merger creates a stronger, more unified representation of the Dutch offshore wind sector abroad. By combining our knowledge, networks and initiatives, we increase our impact and are better positioned to support the international growth ambitions of our members.”

Wim Jenniskens, Chairman of HHWE, adds: “This is a strategic alliance that unites the strongest players in the Dutch maritime, offshore and renewable sectors. Together, we’re building a powerful platform for the future.”

The merger offers clear benefits: greater efficiency and visibility in international trade missions and exhibitions, a broader network for members, and increased impact in public affairs, communication and strategic positioning.

Leading up to the merger, the HHWE team will gradually integrate into the NMT-IRO office. A joint member briefing will be held in September to provide more information on the next steps.
