Gurit (SIX Swiss Exchange: GURN) gibt heute bekannt, dass Dr. Javier Perez-Freije, Chief Financial Officer und derzeit amtierender Chief Executive Officer ad interim, das Unternehmen Ende November 2025 verlassen wird.

(WK-intern) – Javier kam im Mai 2024 als CFO zu Gurit und übernahm bis Ende Oktober 2024 zusätzlich die Rolle des amtierenden CEO ad interim.

Seine beständige Führung trug maßgeblich dazu bei, die Dynamik sowohl im Personalbereich als auch im operativen Geschäft aufrechtzuerhalten.

Wie bereits am 1. April 2025 kommuniziert, wurde Dr. Tobias Lührig zum ständigen CEO ernannt. Er wird seine Tätigkeit am 1. Juli 2025 aufnehmen. In der Zwischenzeit leitet Gurit den Suchprozess für den zukünftigen CFO ein. Die Nominierung wird zu gegebener Zeit bekannt gegeben.

Der Verwaltungsrat möchte Javier seinen herzlichen Dank aussprechen. Seine Führung war in dieser Transformationsphase von entscheidender Bedeutung, insbesondere bei der erfolgreichen Umsetzung der Anpassungsmaßnahmen und der Neuausrichtung des Unternehmens.

Der Vorstand dankt Javier für seine Verdienste und sein Engagement und wünscht ihm weiterhin viel Erfolg für seine zukünftigen Aufgaben.

GURIT ANNOUNCES CHANGES IN THE EXECUTIVE BOARD

Gurit (SIX Swiss Exchange: GURN) today announces that Dr. Javier Perez-Freije, Chief Financial Officer and currently acting Chief Executive Officer ad interim, will be leaving the company at the end of November 2025.

Javier joined Gurit in May 2024 as CFO and took on the additional role of acting CEO ad interim by end of October 2024. His steady leadership has been key in maintaining momentum across both people and business operations.

As previously communicated on April 1, 2025, a permanent CEO, Dr. Tobias Lührig, has been appointed and will commence on July 1, 2025. In the meantime, Gurit will initiate the search process for the future CFO of Gurit. The nomination will be announced in due course.

The Board of Directors wishes to extend its sincere appreciation to Javier. His leadership was critical during a transformative period, particularly in the successful execution of the right-sizing efforts and the pivot to its new strategic direction.
