Vestas wins 54 MW order in Australia Tilt Renewables signs an engineering, procurement and construction contract for the 54 MW Salt Creek wind park in Victoria, taking Vestas‘ order intake in Australia to date to more than 2.5 GW. The firm and unconditional order for 15 V126-3.45 MW was placed by long-term customer Tilt Renewables for the Salt Creek wind park in Woorndoo, Victoria. The turbines will be delivered in Power Optimised Mode of 3.6 MW to maximise energy output. The order includes a 25-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM4000) service agreement in which Vestas guarantees a defined high level of availability and performance for the project’s entire lifetime. Turbine delivery is expected in the first quarter of 2018, with commissioning in the third quarter of the same year.
