Oktober 2014 US-based Renewable NRG Systems and Belgium’s FLiDAR announced today that they have entered an exclusive partnership for the distribution of FLiDAR’s offshore wind measurement buoys in the Americas. Floating LiDAR technology uses buoy-mounted laser-anemometry to measure wind speeds, helping to determine the economic and technical feasibility of an offshore wind development.
