Gurit baut strategische Partnerschaft mit führendem westlichen Windkraftanlagenhersteller durch neuen Liefervertrag für spezialisierte formulierte Produkte aus

(WK-intern) – Gurit (SIX Swiss Exchange: GURN) gab heute den Abschluss eines neuen, auf zwei Jahre ausgelegten Liefervertrags mit einem weltweit führenden Hersteller von Windkraftanlagen bekannt.

Der Vertrag hat über die gesamte Laufzeit einen Gesamtwert von rund 12 Millionen CHF.

Im Rahmen dieser Vereinbarung liefert Gurit ein Portfolio an Epoxidharzen und Klebstoffen, die bei der Herstellung von Rotorblättern für Windkraftanlagen zum Einsatz kommen. Der Vertrag verlängert die bestehende Lieferbeziehung zu diesem Kunden und erweitert das Spektrum der für Rotorblattanwendungen gelieferten formulierten Produkte.

Die Vereinbarung umfasst eine Reihe von Epoxidlösungen für die Rotorblattherstellung, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf spezialisierten Endanwendungen liegt. Das Produktportfolio beinhaltet sowohl bewährte Epoxidsysteme als auch kundenspezifische Formulierungen, die von den Chemikern und Technikern am Gurit-Standort auf der Isle of Wight (Großbritannien) entwickelt wurden.

Mit dieser Vereinbarung stärkt Gurit seine Position als Anbieter integrierter Verbundwerkstofflösungen für die Windenergiebranche. Dies geschieht durch die Kombination aus formulierten Produkten, Anwendungskompetenz und technischer Unterstützung entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette der Rotorblattherstellung.

Gurit arbeitet eng mit Kunden in den Bereichen Design, Entwicklung und Industrialisierung zusammen und liefert Verbundwerkstoffe sowie technische Unterstützung für Hochleistungsanwendungen. GURIT EXPANDS STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH LEADING WESTERN WIND OEM THROUGH NEW SUPPLY CONTRACT FOR SPECIALIZED FORMULATED PRODUCTS

Gurit (SIX Swiss Exchange: GURN) today announced that it has secured a new two-year supply contract with a leading global wind turbine manufacturer. The contract has a total value of approximately CHF 12 million over the contract term.

Under the agreement, Gurit will supply a portfolio of epoxy-based resins and adhesives used in the manufacture of wind turbine blades. The contract extends Gurit’s existing supply relationship with the customer and expands the scope of formulated products supplied for blade applications.

The contract covers a range of epoxy solutions designed for the manufacture of wind turbine blades, with an emphasis on specialized end use applications. The product portfolio will include both well established epoxy systems and custom formulations developed by Gurit’s chemists and technicians at its Isle of Wight (UK)-based facility.

The agreement reinforces Gurit’s position as an integrated composite solutions provider for the wind energy sector, through the combination of formulated products, application expertise and technical support across the wind blade manufacturing value chain.
