RWE beginnt Bau eines 42-Megawatt-Onshore-Windparks in Italien

(WK-intern) – Essen/Rom – RWE hat mit dem Bau des Onshore-Windparks Serra Giannina begonnen, der in der Gemeinde Potenza in der Region Basilikata liegt.

Das Projekt, das im Rahmen der letztjährigen FER-X-Auktion bezuschlagt wurde, wird über eine installierte Leistung von 42 Megawatt (MW) verfügen.

Sechs Windkraftanlagen mit einer Leistung von jeweils sieben MW werden ab 2027 in der Lage sein, genügend Strom zu liefern, um rund 39.000 italienische Haushalte zu versorgen.

Neben Serra Giannina errichtet RWE drei weitere große Onshore-Windparks in Italien: Serra Palino (47 MW) in Apulien, Venusia (45 MW) in der Basilikata sowie den Windpark Alas (66 MW) auf Sardinien.

Essen/Rome – RWE has started construction of the Serra Giannina onshore wind farm, which is located in the municipality of Potenza, in the Basilicata region. The project, which was awarded in last year’s FER-X auction, will have an installed capacity of 42 megawatts (MW). Six wind turbines, each with a capacity of seven MW, will be capable of supplying enough electricity to power around 39,000 Italian homes from 2027 onwards.

In addition to Serra Giannina, RWE is constructing three other major onshore wind farms in Italy: Serra Palino (47 MW) in Apulia, Venusia (45 MW) in Basilicata, and the Alas wind farm (66 MW) in Sardinia.
