Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB (publ) gibt heute bekannt, dass der Verwaltungsrat Fredrik Aaben mit Wirkung zum 16. Januar zum Chief Executive Officer (CEO) von Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB (publ) ernannt hat.

(WK-intern) – Die Ernennung erfolgt im Einklang mit dem Nachfolgeplan von Scandinavian Enviro Systems und folgt der einvernehmlichen Vereinbarung zwischen Enviro und Fredrik Emilson, dass dieser von seiner Position als CEO zurücktritt.

Fredrik Emilson wird dem Unternehmen während einer Übergangsphase als Senior Advisor zur Seite stehen.

Fredrik Aaben ist seit November 2024 als Chief Financial Officer (CFO) bei Scandinavian Enviro Systems tätig. Vor seinem Eintritt bei Scandinavian Enviro Systems war Fredrik Aaben Leiter Corporate Finance bei Volvo Cars, wo er fast acht Jahre in verschiedenen Funktionen in den Bereichen Corporate Finance, Unternehmensstrategie und Corporate Governance tätig war. Er war außerdem Group Business Controller bei Stena AB und verfügt über Erfahrung in der Management- und Strategieberatung. Fredrik Aaben besitzt einen Master of Science in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen sowie einen Master of Science in Softwareentwicklung, beide von der Technischen Universität Chalmers.

Der Vorstand dankt Fredrik Emilson für sein Engagement und seinen wertvollen Beitrag zum Unternehmen während seiner Amtszeit als Chief Executive Officer. Unter seiner Führung hat das Unternehmen wichtige Entwicklungsschritte unternommen, und der Vorstand schätzt seinen Einsatz und sein Engagement sehr.

Im Zuge der Veränderung in der Geschäftsführung wurde Maria Ljungstrand zur Chief Financial Officer ernannt. Maria Ljungstrand kam im April 2024 zu Scandinavian Enviro Systems und leitete bis heute das Group Business Control. Vor ihrem Eintritt bei Enviro bekleidete sie verschiedene Positionen im Bereich Business Control bei Unternehmen wie Danone und Mondelez International.

Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB announces leadership transition

Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB (publ) today announces that the Board of Directors has appointed Fredrik Aaben as Chief Executive Officer of Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB (publ) effective from January 16th. The appointment is made in accordance with Scandinavian Enviro Systems’ succession plan and follows the mutual agreement between Enviro and Fredrik Emilson that he will step down from his position as Chief Executive Officer. Fredrik Emilson will act as Senior Advisor to the company during a transitional period.

Fredrik Aaben has been employed by Scandinavian Enviro Systems as Chief Financial Officer since November 2024. Prior to joining Scandinavian Enviro Systems, Fredrik Aaben served as Head of Corporate Finance at Volvo Cars, where he spent close to eight years in various roles within corporate finance, corporate strategy and corporate governance. He has also served as Group Business Controller at Stena AB and has a background in management and strategy consulting. Fredrik Aaben holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management as well as a Master of Science in Software Engineering, both from Chalmers University of Technology.

In connection with the change in executive management, Maria Ljungstrand has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Maria joined Scandinavian Enviro Systems in April 2024 and has until today served as Head of Group Business Control. Prior to joining Enviro, Maria held various Business Controller positions at companies including Danone and Mondelez International.
