Der globale Anbieter von Meeresdienstleistungen, DeepOcean, hat die Verlegung und Vermessung der Verbindungskabel für einen Offshore-Windpark in den USA erfolgreich abgeschlossen.

(WK-intern) – Der Leistungsumfang von DeepOcean umfasste die Verlegung und Vermessung der Verbindungskabel zwischen den Turbinen und den Offshore-Umspannwerken.

Diese wichtigen Arbeiten gewährleisten den langfristigen Schutz und die Stabilität der Unterseekabelinfrastruktur.

Der Auftrag wurde von einem globalen Anbieter von Engineering-, Beschaffungs-, Bau- und Installationsleistungen (EPCI) für die Offshore-Windindustrie vergeben.

DeepOcean setzte ein Unterstützungsschiff für die Verlegung von Seekabeln (TSV) und das Unterwasser-Jet-Trenngerät UT-1 ein. Das UT-1 gilt als das weltweit leistungsstärkste, frei fliegende Jet-Trenngerät und hat sich bei der erfolgreichen Verlegung von Tausenden Kilometern Seekabel und Pipelines unter verschiedensten anspruchsvollen Meeresbodenbedingungen weltweit bewährt.

DeepOcean completes U.S. offshore wind contract

Global ocean services provider DeepOcean has successfully completed trenching and survey operations on inter-array cables for a U.S. offshore wind project.
DeepOcean’s scope of work encompassed trenching and surveying of the inter-array cables that connect turbines to the offshore substations. These critical operations ensure the long-term protection and stability of the subsea cable infrastructure.

The contract was awarded by a global provider of engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) to the offshore wind industry.

“This work scope reflects DeepOcean’s commitment to delivering subsea services that help contractors and their end-clients optimize cable protection programs, reducing both cost and risk for all parties. DeepOcean deployed a trenching support vessel (TSV) and the subsea jet trenching tool UT-1. The UT-1 is recognized as the world’s most powerful, free-flying jet trencher with a proven track record of successfully burying thousands of kilometres of subsea cables and pipelines in various challenging seabed conditions worldwide.
