Es handelt sich dabei um die bislang größte Offshore-Wind-Transaktion, die je in der Region Asien-Pazifik durchgeführt wurde und um das erste große Offshore-Windprojekt der Multimegawatt-Klasse, das in Taiwan realisiert wird. Das Yunlin-Projekt wird acht Kilometer vor der Westküste Taiwans errichtet und besteht aus 80 Turbinen der 8-MW-Klasse, die von Siemens Gamesa geliefert werden.
