New order takes Vestas’ announced 2017 order intake in Argentina close to 600 MW (WK-intern) - Vestas has received another order to extend a wind park in Argentina, underlining its market-leadership in Argentina's growing wind energy market. The order is placed by Petroquímica Comodoro Rivadavia S.A. (PCR), a national company specialised in cement and oil & gas industries, and includes 22 MW. Brazilian auction results in 53 MW order from new customer Echoenergia (WK-intern) - New customer Echoenergia, the Brazilian subsidiary of Actis, a global investor specialising in private equity, energy and real estate asset management, has placed a 53 MW order derived from the A-5 Brazilian auction held in 2014, once more underlining Vestas' strong capabilities within auction schemes. The order covers the two wind parks Boa Esperança I and Pedra do Reino IV, comprising 22 MW and 31 MW respectively. The projects are located in the region of Sobradinho in Bahía and consist of a total of 24 units of locally manufactured V110-2.0
