Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) hat den Erwerb einer 50-prozentigen Beteiligung an OffshoreCrew AS vereinbart – einem norwegischen Spezialisten für Personalvermittlung und Crewing-Lösungen im Offshore-Bereich.

(WK-intern) – Damit stärkt das Unternehmen sein Dienstleistungsangebot für Kunden aus der Offshore- und Schifffahrtsbranche weiter.

Das in Kristiansand ansässige Unternehmen OffshoreCrew bietet Dienstleistungen in den Bereichen Personalvermittlung, Personalgestellung und Crew-Management für die Offshore- und maritime Industrie an, darunter für die Öl- und Gasbranche, die Offshore-Windkraft und Unterwasseraktivitäten (Subsea).

Das Unternehmen verfügt über eine nachweislich erfolgreiche Bilanz bei der Bereitstellung von qualifiziertem Personal für Offshore-Schiffe und -Projekte, gestützt durch eine eigene Datenbank mit rund 30.000 Offshore-Fachkräften.

Die Investition ist ein wichtiger Schritt in der Strategie von BSM, die Kompetenzen im Bereich Offshore-Crewing-Lösungen auszubauen. Während sich BSM traditionell auf das technische Management und das Crew-Management für die weltweite Schifffahrtsindustrie konzentriert hat, ermöglicht die Partnerschaft mit OffshoreCrew ein stärker auf die Bedürfnisse von Offshore-Kunden zugeschnittenes Dienstleistungsangebot. Dazu gehört die Bereitstellung einzelner Spezialisten – etwa Bediener von Dynamic-Positioning-Systemen (DP-Operatoren), Kranführer oder Fachkräfte für andere hochspezialisierte Aufgaben – für eine große Bandbreite an Offshore-Einheiten. Damit erweitert BSM seine Reichweite auf ein breiteres Spektrum an Offshore-Einheiten, als dies bisher der Fall war.

Durch die Kombination der Expertise und des agilen Geschäftsmodells von OffshoreCrew mit dem weltweiten Netzwerk und der Infrastruktur von BSM erhalten Kunden Zugang zum gesamten Spektrum an Offshore-Dienstleistungen – von der Personalvermittlung und -gestellung über das Crew-Management bis hin zum vollständigen (technischen) Management. Dieser integrierte Ansatz ermöglicht eine schnellere Mobilisierung von qualifiziertem Offshore-Personal und verkürzt die Reaktionszeiten bei dringendem Personalbedarf erheblich, insbesondere in sich rasch entwickelnden Märkten wie der Offshore-Windkraft und anderen Energiesektoren.

Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) has agreed to acquire a 50% stake in OffshoreCrew AS, a Norwegian specialist in offshore recruitment and crewing solutions, further strengthening its service offering for offshore and maritime customers.

Headquartered in Kristiansand, OffshoreCrew provides recruitment, staffing and crew management services to offshore and maritime industries, including oil and gas, offshore wind and subsea operations. The company has built a strong track record in supplying qualified personnel for offshore vessels and projects, supported by an in-house database of around 30,000 offshore professionals.

The investment marks an important step in BSM’s strategy to expand its capabilities in offshore crew solutions. While BSM has traditionally focused on technical and crew management for the global maritime industry, the partnership with OffshoreCrew enables the company to offer more tailored, targeted services to offshore clients – including the provision of individual specialists such as dynamic positioning operators, crane operators or other highly specialised roles over a vast range of different offshore unit types. This expands BSM’s reach across a broader range of offshore unit types than previously covered.

By combining OffshoreCrew’s expertise and agile operating model with BSM’s global network and infrastructure, the partnership will allow customers to access the full spectrum of offshore services – from recruitment and staffing through to crew management and up to full (technical) management.
