Prokon Regenerative Energien eG, einer der führenden unabhängigen Betreiber von Windenergieanlagen in Deutschland, hat sich für das Portfolio-SCADA-System OneView® von Opoura entschieden, um seinen 918 MW umfassenden Windparkbestand zu verwalten und dabei mehrere Betriebssysteme durch eine einzige, einheitliche Plattform zu ersetzen.

SILKEBORG, DÄNEMARK – Prokon Regenerative Energien eG, eine der größten Energiegenossenschaften Deutschlands, macht einen bedeutenden Schritt zur Steigerung der betrieblichen Effizienz, indem das Unternehmen den Betrieb seiner Windenergieanlagen auf einer zentralen, übergreifenden Softwareplattform von Opoura zusammenführt.

Der deutsche Windkraftbetreiber verwaltet derzeit 531 Anlagen an 112 Standorten; angesichts dieser Größenordnung sind selbst geringfügige Verbesserungen der Anlagenleistung und der Betriebskosten von großem Wert.

Bislang setzte Prokon auf verschiedene Plattformen, um unterschiedliche betriebliche Funktionen im gesamten Portfolio abzudecken. Auch die Steuerung und Überwachung der Windenergieanlagen erfolgten getrennt voneinander. Mit dem Portfolio-SCADA-System OneView® bündelt das Unternehmen nun wesentliche Funktionen in einem einzigen System. Die Plattform kombiniert die Fernsteuerung und Überwachung der Anlagen mit Alarmanalysen und der Fehlerbehebung. Diese Modernisierung der Betriebsabläufe reduziert den Aufwand für den Betrieb und die Wartung separater Systeme. Zudem erhalten die Teams von Prokon eine zentrale Datengrundlage, die fundiertere Entscheidungen sowie ein kosteneffizienteres Anlagenmanagement und einen effizienteren Energiehandel ermöglicht.

Da Prokon kritische Infrastruktur betreibt, spielten auch Cybersicherheit und die Einhaltung regulatorischer Vorgaben eine zentrale Rolle bei der Implementierung der Software. OneView® wird auf der eigenen Serverinfrastruktur von Prokon gehostet – und nicht in der Cloud –, wodurch das Unternehmen die volle Kontrolle über den Betrieb behält. Darüber hinaus wird die Softwareumgebung aktiv gewartet und aktualisiert, während die Cybersicherheitsmaßnahmen unabhängig geprüft und verifiziert werden.

Letztlich unterstützt die Zusammenarbeit mit dem dänischen Softwareunternehmen Prokon dabei, die Verfügbarkeit der Anlagen zu erhöhen. Prokon Regenerative Energien eG, one of Germany’s leading independent wind energy operators, has selected Opoura’s OneView® Portfolio SCADA system for its 918 MW wind fleet, replacing multiple operational systems with a single unified platform. The ability to combine control and monitoring in one platform, while improving the cybersecurity setup, has been a key driver behind the collaboration.

SILKEBORG, DENMARK – Thursday, September 17, 2026 – Prokon Regenerative Energien eG, one of Germany’s largest energy cooperatives, is taking a major step in operational efficiency by bringing the operation of wind turbines together on a single centralized overlay software platform from Opoura. The German wind operator is currently managing 531 turbines across 112 sites, making even small improvements in fleet performance and operating costs valuable at scale.

Prokon has historically relied on several platforms to support different operational functions across its portfolio. Control and monitoring of wind turbines have also been managed separately. With the OneView® Portfolio SCADA, the company is bringing key capabilities together in one system. The platform combines remote turbine control and monitoring with alarm analysis and troubleshooting. This operational modernization reduces the need to operate and maintain separate systems. It also gives Prokon’s teams a centralized data foundation for better decision-making and a more cost-efficient approach to asset management and energy trading.

Since Prokon operates critical infrastructure, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance have also been key priorities in the software setup. OneView® is hosted on Prokon’s own server infrastructure rather than in the cloud, which gives the company full operational ownership. Besides this, the software environment is actively maintained and updated, while the cybersecurity setup is independently tested and verified.

Ultimately, the collaboration with the Denmark-based software company helps Prokon increase asset availability. At the same time, reporting, analytics, and other business processes are increasingly automated, improving operational efficiency for the wind operator.
