Vestas wins first V136-4.2 MW order in South Korea (WK-intern) - Vestas has secured its first V136-4.2 MW order in South Korea for the Cheongsong Myeonbong Mt Wind Power project with EPC contractor Kumho Industrial Co., Ltd. The 42 MW order consists of ten V136-4.2 MW wind turbines at a hub height of 112m as well as a 20-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM 4000) service agreement, designed to maximise uptime and ensure optimised performance of the project. To optimise operation in the site’s specific wind conditions, the turbines will feature Vestas’ High Wind Operation (HWO), an intelligent control option that allows the
