(WK-intern) - Die Bestückung der Komponenten fand im 120 km entfernten Werk von Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy in Hull statt. Die Windkraftanlagen wurden von zwei Spezialschiffen, der Bold Tern und der Sea Challenger transportiert, bei beiden handelt es sich um Installationsschiffe, die sich im Meer aufbocken, um eine stabile Basis zum Heben zu bieten. Jeweils vier Turbinen wurden auf ein Schiff geladen. Die Hauptkomponenten sind ein Stahlturm, drei Rotorblätter und eine Gondel, in der alle Komponenten des Turbinengenerators untergebracht sind.
