PALFINGER MARINE wins contract for delivery of 66 PSM 400 cranes to Merkur Offshore wind farm (WK-intern) - With a project capacity of 396 MW and a turbine capacity of 6 MW, Merkur Offshore is one of the biggest German wind farms. It is located 45 km from Borkum in the North Sea and is being built and operated by Merkur Offshore GmbH. The turbines will be supplied by GE Renewable Energy (Alstom) and installed by DEME.
