EU countries give green light to 32% renewable energy target for 2030 (WK-intern) - European countries gave their endorsement today to a binding EU-wide renewable energy target of 32% for 2030. They confirmed a deal on the Renewable Energy Directive, which negotiators from the Council and European Parliament reached on 14 June.
