300,000-strong wind energy community mobilises for European Elections (WK-intern) - WindEurope today launched a campaign to mobilise the 300,000 people who work in wind energy throughout Europe to go and vote in the upcoming European Elections. The European Parliament is a key enabler of renewable energy. It was the European Parliament that fought for the 32% EU renewables target for 2030 – the European Commission and the Member States initially only wanted 27%.
