Umstellung der Produktion auf GreenSteel Climate+ des Schweizer Stahlkonzerns (WK-intern) - Um den CO2-Fußabdruck der europaweit produzierten Wälzlager zu reduzieren, hat SKF neben nachhaltigen Produktionsbedingungen nun auch deren Hauptbestandteil – den Rohstoff Stahl – ins Visier genommen. Seit Anfang 2024 bezieht SKF seinen Wälzlager Stahl von der Swiss Steel Group und seiner Tochtergesellschaft Deutsche Edelstahlwerke (DEW) ausschließlich in der Qualität „GreenSteel Climate+“.
