EMS Maritime Offshore GmbH (EMO) und RWE Innogy haben einen Rahmenvertrag über nautische und logistische Zusammenarbeit unterzeichnet.
(WK-intern) – EMO becomes maritime partner for O+M phase of Nordsee Ost
EMS Maritime Offshore GmbH (EMO) and RWE Innogy have signed a framework agreement for supply off nautical and logistical personnel, maritime consulting, audits and surveys related to the O+M phase of Nordsee Ost offshore wind farm.
So far EMO had supplied IMCA audits, client representatives and consulting under this contract. Recently a team of six nautical officers took over 24/7 marine coordination for all ongoing vessel activities at the site.
Nordsee Ost offshore wind farm have an installed capacity of some 295 MW and supply the equivalent of some 320,000 residential households with electricity per year.
Equipped with the currently most powerful offshore turbines, Nordsee Ost ranks among the largest commercial wind power projects off the German coast.
The German offshore company with headquarter in Emden provides all required maritime services regarding the construction and maintenance of an offshore wind farm. Started in 2007 as the offshore department of AG “EMS” (a ferry company dating back to 1843), EMO was founded in 2010 as a 100 per cent subsidiary company of AG “EMS”. Today EMO operates a total of 7 vessels and has over 100 employees.
